Hi All on the list,
I have noticed in the last week or so I have been getting a Divide
overflow error when I forward to my partner via RF. My system has been
running fine up till this point. Once the error happens then the program
aborts and the dos prompt appears mixed in the normal view of the FBB
program. I have to re-boot in order for fbb to start working again.
I am running the following:
IBM clone 386/40 8meg ram
DosFbb 7.00g25
BPQ 4.08a
Super VGA monitor
KPC-1 Tnc in KISS mode
I was running QEMM 7.5 memory manager and disabled it thinking it was
the problem, but the problem still happens. Now I am currently running
HIMEM.sys and EMM386.exe and I ran
the MEMMAKER program to optimize my memory settings.
In my INIT.srv file there is a place that ask about XFWD being used
instead of FBB which was the way I have had my system set up for the
longest time, this setting in the init.srv file had a line like this:
OK 512
which means XFWD has priority over FBB protocol, I changed this to say:
OK 0
which uses FBB protocol and was able to forward to my partner the
backlog of forwards the system had ready for him, then at this point I
got about 40 REJECTED MAIL messages from him on a lot to the bulletins
that my system tried to send him. This has never happen before I changed
the OK 512 above. I looked at the REJECTED MAIL messages I got from him
and most of them seem like they are invalid callsigns but i'm not sure,
i've tired to look up most of them in a current callsign database but
most of them came back call not found.
Thanks for any suggestions or help.
