[fbb] Inconsistency in message database

I am running FBB 7.02 on a Linux Debian v2.2 system.
The problem I have at this moment is that there is a inconsistency in the
message database. It happens that a message is deleted from the server but
the database is stil giving the header. Some privat mail is comming in
several times, up to 3 times, and when one mail is deleted the other two
are still shown.

Is there a way to rebuild the database, so the messagestore and the database
are consistent again?

Last question, how can I configure WP?
