[xfbb] Interface Client now works!

Bo, Ray
Thanks for the insight, it was more of a bird in the hand question...I have successfully compiled and got JNOS running so I was looking for a quick fix.
I agree, why add unnecessary layers of software and complexity.
I will just suck it up and take a stab at rebuilding the kernel....after all that is what amateur Radio is all about...experimenting and learning........thanks for reminding me of that.
All the best of the season to both of you and everyone else on the list.

Like Bo, I've not used JNOS under Linux. I also cannot understand why
anyone would want to use a program to handle ax25 when Linux does it so
seemlessly. ax25 is part of the kernel, providing better integration
than any add-on program could ever hope to achieve.
Getting kernel ax25 working is really quite simple. Certainly a lot
easier than I recall of setting up (DOS) JNOS. Once you have kernel
ax25 working all ax25 applications - bbs, node, aprs, etc, etc - can
share ports in a totally harmonious way.
