Yes thank you Jim, the PTCII is working fine, but unfortunately my main 
HF contact has closed down.  I have a couple of odditties to sort out 
yet, but generally all OK.
Since you gave me the info about the xfbbC -m 0 cmd I can now tell what 
is going on in my own station.

I do not have internet access to the remote m/c yet, but it is coming.
There are some problems with lightning protection on the site so we are 
reluctant to connect the landline to the office computer and ADSL modem 
permanently.  There have been a couple of really bad lightning strikes 
which required a new computer and lot of work in the VK2WI station.

Still we will get there in time as it always takes a lot of time with 
volunteer organisations.  We have a tennant on the site with a 300 ft 
tower so there are significant protection requirements.
