[xfbb] Problem

Barry,

Linux is much more secure than DOS or Windows and root access is 
restricted deliberately.

If you have installed the telnet server, telnetd, you can connect to 
fpacnode and then telnet <hostname>. You can then login with 
user/password. Then su to get root login.
