Hi Danny.
I searched the xfbb-list and found that exactly the same problem has been reported before.
Oct 20, 2007 (2 msg) and Oct 21, 2007 (3 msg): [xfbb] xfbb and ubuntu 7.10
Oct 30, 2007 (3 msg): [xfbb] FBB and Ubuntu
No real solution was found in any of the messages.
The only thing that worked was going back to Ubuntu 7.04.
xfbb then went back from 95-98% to 7-8% cpu time.
It was also suggested in some messages in late dec 2007 that xfbb 7.04o should be used.
