If you _find_ a .res file with a date older than 24 hours (the date/time
of the .res file, not its contents), delete it. It will not let the
epurmess program execute if it is present (this is a safety measure).

After the following maintenance cycle, a new .res should appear. If you
run maintenance each 24 hours, this will be automatically deleted.
